Toes to Sky

Toes to Sky is a core exercise where you lie on your back and lift your legs straight up toward the ceiling, engaging your lower abdominals. A great progression from basic crunches.

How to Perform Toes to Sky

    Lie flat on your back with your arms at your sides or under your lower back for support.

    Keeping your legs straight and together, lift them toward the ceiling until they are perpendicular to the floor.
  3. 3
    At the top, push your feet toward the ceiling by lifting your hips slightly off the ground.
  4. 4
    Slowly lower your legs back down without letting them touch the floor.
  5. 5
    Perform 3 sets of 12–15 reps. Keep your lower back pressed into the floor throughout.
