A crick in your neck can be an annoying pain to deal with. Thankfully, there are exercises and preventative measures you can take to strengthen your neck and prevent future pains! These exercises are easy and can be utilized throughout the day without much time or effort.
Most obviously, your neck keeps your head on straight. It also allows the head to turn from side-to-side and up-and-down. The neck consists of the spinal cord, nerves, vertebral discs, and muscles. While the neck isn't one of the largest parts of your body, it's definitely incredibly important. You want to be sure that you're doing regular maintenance on your neck and smartly strengthening the muscles.
You shouldn't wait until you're in pain to strengthen your neck. These exercises and stretches may seem like they're subtle, but they truly are effective in building a strong and healthy neck. If you have injured your neck, please make sure you check with your doctor to ensure what movements are safe for you to do.
